Sit Down, Be Hungry Is a bay area-based food podcast with hosts Chavid dang! & Dinepiece. These two belly buddies recap their local and international food recommendations, discuss newsworthy events and stories in the food world, and debate the merits of various food items with notable guests from food and pop culture.

This project served, and continues to serve as a great outlet to express a love for all things culinary. Nearing 50 Episodes (49 actually, the 50th episode was to be a live-recorded event at one of our favorite places right before the pandemic started) The show proved to be a cornerstone for a love of eating, cooking, and dining in the Bay Area and abroad.

Besides the normal task of visually designing and branding such a project, this was a great venture out of the comfort zone since this was also a venture from behind the scenes to the center stage as well. Being in front of the microphone was a new skill to get used to, and something unexpectedly fun. Be careful listening if you haven’t eaten yet today.
